GRRL! SUMMARY:

  • DESIREE MÜLLER delivered exactly what we’ve come to expect from her – two solid top-ten finishes at the Porsche Sports Cup Germany finale at Hockenheim. Starting 11th and 12th respectively, she climbed to 10th in Race 1 and improved to 9th in Race 2, showing the kind of steady racecraft that builds championships. Her ability to capitalize on others’ mistakes while keeping her nose clean demonstrates why she’s continuing with Porsche machinery in 2026.
  • CARRIE SCHREINER was having the weekend we love to see until Leon Buchmüller decided to wreck it all. After a brilliant drive from 5th to 4th in Race 1 – including a gutsy overtake at Südkehre and 14 minutes of fierce defending – she was running a solid 4th in Race 2 when Buchmüller inexplicably lost control and slammed into her rear at full speed. The impact was so violent it sent her spinning multiple times, yet somehow she walked away without serious injury.
  • What’s particularly infuriating is that Buchmüller – who caused this dangerous mess – was disqualified but still allowed to clinch the Endurance Championship later that day in a reserve car. Meanwhile, SCHREINER’s season is over and she needs recovery time before returning next year. The fact that neither Buchmüller nor his team have bothered to explain what caused him to approach Turn 7 “far too quickly” with “no noticeable braking” raises questions about accountability in this sport.

UPCOMING:

  • Porsche Sports Cup Germany 2025 Season Opener
  • GT4 European Series Winter Testing
