LISA CLARK Takes Double Podium Weekend, Leads Ferrari Challenge Points Race

• LISA CLARK dominated the weekend at Laguna Seca with back-to-back third place finishes in Ferrari Challenge Coppa Shell AM, adding to her earlier second place at Sebring. The 58-year-old Southern California resident now sits atop the points standings, proving her “breakout year” theory correct after upgrading to a 488 Challenge and developing what she calls better racecraft and more aggressive driving.
• What makes CLARK’s success particularly satisfying is her journey from self-doubt to podium regular. When her Ferrari dealer first suggested she could actually race competitively, she worried about being “a woman in motorsport—at my age” and didn’t want to “come in at the bottom and get beat up.” Instead, she methodically built her skills through Corsa Pilota classes, go-karting, and EXR events before making her Challenge debut in 2017.
• As one of only three women in Ferrari Challenge North America, CLARK represents progress in a series that prides itself on gentleman driver culture over professional racing ladder ambitions.
