GRRL! SUMMARY:
- MAYA WEUG proved her Day 1 dominance wasn’t a fluke, sweeping both sessions at Bahrain with times of 2:04.567 and 2:04.517. The Ferrari driver showed the consistency that wins championships, turning MP Motorsport into the team to beat while her rivals scrambled to match her pace.
- JOANNE CICONTE emerged as Weug’s closest challenger in the morning, missing the top spot by just 0.098s in her Wella-liveried machine. Meanwhile, ALBA LARSEN found her rhythm in the afternoon, briefly leading before settling for second just 0.056s behind Weug – proof that MP Motorsport has the entire package working.
- The depth of talent showed throughout both sessions as CHLOE CHAMBERS and ALISHA PALMOWSKI traded fastest laps for Campos Racing, while DORIANE PIN and NINA GADEMAN kept PREMA honest. Even with red flags from ALBA LARSEN and ELLA LLOYD interrupting the flow, the field consistently pushed into the 2:04s when it mattered.
