• F1 Academy drivers JOANNE CICONTE and AIVA ANAGNOSTIADIS earned prime real estate in Melbourne’s massive F1 Exhibition, with CICONTE’s race suit, kart, helmet, and trophies featured prominently in the Australian racing legacy room. At just 16, she’s sharing display space with legends like Jack Brabham and Oscar Piastri – not bad company for someone who admits she “missed” having female role models growing up.
• CICONTE couldn’t contain her excitement on opening night, telling fans the recognition “means so much” after all her hard work and dedication. The teenager sees herself becoming an inspiration at 16 years old, competing in what she calls “the biggest championship for females in motorsport.” She’s hoping younger fans, especially aspiring female racers, will see her story and realize what’s possible.
• The exhibition runs until April 2026 at Melbourne Convention Centre, giving fans over a year to witness how women are finally getting their due alongside F1’s biggest names.
