EARLY YEARS

Born into racing royalty, Kate is the daughter of Wally Dallenbach Jr., a two-time Trans-Am Series champion and four-time Daytona 24 Hours winner, and Robin McCall Dallenbach, who at eighteen became the youngest female driver to compete in NASCAR when she ran four Winston Cup races in 1982. Her grandfather, Wally Dallenbach Sr., won five IndyCar races and later served as CART’s Chief Steward of Competition for over two decades.
