• PATRICIJA STALIDZANE and SIRI HÖKFELT proved women can win races and championships in the Nxt Gen Cup electric Mini series, with STALIDZANE finishing fourth overall in 2025 while both drivers claimed race victories. Series founder Fredrik Lestrup proudly notes that up to six female drivers have competed, making up 33% of the grid and proving “really, really good” – exactly the kind of representation Formula E should be fighting to showcase.
• The Nxt Gen Cup stands ready to fill Formula E’s embarrassing three-hour gap between qualifying and racing, but financial disputes keep blocking what should be an obvious partnership. After being humiliatingly turned away from Misano in 2024 despite everything being in place, the series successfully ran with DTM and maintains 18-car fields with ABB partnership, Hankook tires, and self-sufficient operations.
• Formula E has deployed BETH PARETTA as sporting VP to finally solve their support series problem by 2027, with Nxt Gen Cup remaining the most viable option despite ongoing financial negotiations.
