• CECILIA RABELO made an impressive North American debut in the IMSA VP Racing Sportscar Challenge GSX class at Daytona, securing a best finish of sixth place despite limited GT4 experience. The Brazilian racer showed remarkable adaptability, tackling both dry and wet conditions while making significant progress throughout the weekend with Panam Motorsport.
• After qualifying eighth, RABELO demonstrated fierce racecraft in the opening race, charging through the field to challenge for top-5 positions before late contact with Courtney Crone resulted in a penalty that dropped her from fifth to ninth. Her pace during the middle stint was electric – posting the fastest middle sector time in the entire GSX field and being the quickest driver on track at one point.
• The wet second race showcased RABELO’s learning ability as she navigated treacherous conditions with minimal GT4 experience, methodically working her way forward from 12th to ultimately finish sixth after a late-race restart.
