GRRL! SUMMARY:

  • SHEENA MONK put her No. 16 Ford Mustang GT3 right in the thick of the GTD battle during evening practice, running 1:47.118 to land 30th overall and 6th in the ultra-competitive GTD class. The timing shows she’s got the pace to mix it up with the front-runners when the green flag drops for the Rolex 24.
  • LILOU WADOUX and the No. 21 Ferrari 296 GT3 team posted a solid 1:47.670, placing 44th overall and demonstrating the kind of consistency that wins endurance races. While not the flashiest time of the session, it’s exactly the kind of steady performance that keeps you in contention over 24 hours of racing.
  • Both drivers are positioned well within their respective GTD fields, proving once again that when women get equal equipment and opportunities, they deliver competitive results. The real test comes Saturday when 24 hours of racing separates the pretenders from the contenders at Daytona’s demanding road course.

UPCOMING:

  • Rolex 24 at Daytona – January 25-26
