“The role that mistakes play and the way that teams work with mistakes and learn from mistakes has been one of the most transformative things for me to see.”

Sara's bio:
Sara Lobkovich is a Seattle-based strategy execution consultant, certified OKR coach, and the unlikely co-owner of CW Moto Racing—a professional motorcycle road racing team in the Pacific Northwest that proves her obsession with high performance extends far beyond the boardroom.
EARLY YEARS
Sara’s path to two wheels wasn’t born from a lifelong motorcycle obsession—it was pure practicality. Nineteen years ago, she started riding for one brilliantly pragmatic reason: to skip the ferry line during her law school commute[1]. Who knew that a traffic hack would evolve into a full-blown racing operation?
Her academic journey took her through Western Washington University, where she studied English with a focus on Creative Writing, before heading to Seattle University School of Law from 2002 to 2005[2]. She later added coaching credentials to her arsenal, becoming a National Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach (NBC-HWC)[3].
OTHER INTERESTS
Beyond racing and consulting, Sara is a self-described “status-quo challenger” and “strategy rebel” who has built a 30+ year career spanning technology, law, marketing, advertising, strategic operations, and organizational learning and change[4]. She’s also the creator and host of The Moto Curious Podcast, which aims to increase access and inclusion in motorsports—especially motorcycling—one question and answer at a time[5]. The podcast reflects her core belief that motorsports shouldn’t be an exclusive club, and she’s doing the work to crack it wide open.
Sara describes herself as part of various communities including introverts, ADHD individuals, and those on the autism spectrum[6]. She’s open about being neurodivergent and uses her platform to help other ND professionals thrive in their careers[7].
EARLY SUCCESS
Sara co-owns CW Moto Racing with her husband, Chris Lobkovich, who serves as team owner and crew chief[8]. She holds the role of Team Principal and Assistant Crew Chief, managing everything from branding, marketing, and sponsorship to athlete fitness, politics, and sponsor support[9]. It’s the kind of multitasking that would make most people’s heads spin, but Sara thrives in it.
The team campaigns in MotoAmerica, the premier motorcycle road racing series in North America. In 2022, CW Moto Racing announced its step up from Twins to Stock 1000 and Superbike Cup[10]. By 2023, the team made another leap, moving into the Medallia Superbike class with rider Benjamin Smith[11]. It was a gutsy call—one that showed the team’s commitment to pushing boundaries and refusing to play it safe.
NOTABLE ACHIEVEMENTS
- 2022: CW Moto Racing stepped up to Stock 1000 and Superbike Cup classes in MotoAmerica[12].
- 2023: The team advanced to the Medallia Superbike class with Benjamin Smith[13].
- 2025: CW Moto Racing signed British talent Lucca Allen for the MotoAmerica Supersport season[14].
- Ongoing: Sara presents at the Women’s Motorcycle Conference as “Chief Curiosity Officer” of The Moto Curious, working to increase access and inclusion in motorsports[15].
INSPIRATIONS
Sara’s work is fueled by curiosity and a passion for helping leaders and teams understand and achieve their peak performance potential[16]. She draws parallels between the high-stakes, high-performance world of motorcycle racing and business leadership—believing that the principles learned on the track can accelerate business performance[17]. Her philosophy is simple: whether you’re navigating a boardroom or a racetrack, clarity, focus, and guts matter.
REPUTATION
In the business world, Sara is known as the founder and principal consultant at Red Currant Collective, where she specializes in OKR (Objectives and Key Results) coaching and strategy execution for mid-market companies nationwide[18]. She’s a certified OKR Master Coach who helps leaders create clear strategy that connects vision to strategic execution[19]. Her book, “You Are A Strategist: Use No-BS OKRs to Get Big Things Done,” is a playbook for rebels and dedicated changemakers who want to increase their impact[20].
In the racing world, she’s recognized as a force multiplier—someone who handles the unglamorous but essential work of keeping a professional race team running. She’s also known for her podcast work and presentations aimed at breaking down barriers for women and underrepresented groups in motorsports[21]. Sara doesn’t just talk about inclusion; she actively builds pathways for others to follow.
FUTURE GOALS/PLANS
CW Moto Racing is moving forward with Lucca Allen in the 2025 MotoAmerica Supersport season[22], and the team continues to expand its footprint in professional motorcycle racing. Sara has been focused on business planning for the 2026 race season while also working on making her book available for direct purchasing through her website[23]. The dual commitment to both her consulting practice and her racing team shows no signs of slowing down—if anything, she’s just getting started.
