Shawn Langdon went 3.724-seconds at an incredible 345.00 mph in his 12,000-horsepower Kalitta Air dragster, shattering the previous speed record of 343.51 set by Brittany Force last year in Indianapolis. The record-breaking pass puts Langdon, a past world champion in the category, on track for his third No. 1 qualifier of the season and the 25th in his career at South Georgia Motorsports Park.
