• VICKY PIRIA and Giacomo Ghermandi secured their second consecutive First Division AM podium with third place in Race 1, building momentum after their breakthrough runner-up finish at Vallelunga in their debut season together with Zanasi Racing.
• PIRIA delivered a stellar Q1 performance with a 1:49.9 lap securing seventh overall and second in AM class. Ghermandi claimed AM pole for Race 2 with a clutch 1:49.107 final flying lap after red flag interruptions.
• Race 1 saw PIRIA expertly manage tyres in her opening stint, lapping consistently in low 1:54s while closing on the class leader. Ghermandi defended third through aggressive late-race restarts despite severe tyre degradation.
• A cruel engine failure on lap three of Race 2 ended PIRIA’s podium chances before she could even take her stint. The duo has podiumed every time they’ve finished, yet sits 11th in standings with 33 points due to repeated misfortunes.
