GRRL! SUMMARY:
- JANINA SCHALL claimed the 2025 NLS Ladies’ Trophy driving for the ‘Girls only – Ready to rock the Green Hell’ team in just her second season competing in the endurance series. The 20-year-old’s championship represents a sweet family milestone – she’s now achieved what her veteran father Ralf Schall never managed despite his 106 class victories and long NLS career.
- “This is now a point where I can taunt my father a little,” SCHALL grinned after securing her title. Her father Ralf was a legendary figure who scored five overall wins and 106 class victories, mostly in the iconic Mercedes-Benz 190E, but a championship always eluded him throughout his endurance racing career.
- SCHALL credited her success to the Girls Only team environment, saying it was “exactly the right fit for me to enter the NLS. I learned a lot – not just as a driver, but also around.” The young driver made it clear this won’t be her last title chase, showing the kind of ambition that runs in the family racing genes.
