• GRACIE MITCHELL delivered a masterclass in adaptability at the historic Vila Real street circuit, claiming second and third place finishes in GTX class during her first-ever street circuit races. The Tockwith Motorsport driver, sharing the #128 Ginetta G55 with Luca Staccini, showed remarkable composure in treacherous wet conditions during Saturday’s opener, progressively cutting lap times from 2:14.0 to under 2:11 to close within one second of the class leader by the final lap.
• The weekend showcased Mitchell’s growth trajectory in her debut full season of the Iberian Supercars Endurance Championship. After winning her class on debut at Estoril in late 2024, she’s built consistent momentum with fourth and fifth at Portimão, second at Jarama, and now double podiums at Vila Real. Her qualifying pace of 2:11.926 put her fourth in GTX class, while her race pace improvement demonstrated the kind of in-race development that separates promising drivers from championship contenders.
