GRRL! SUMMARY:
- JODIE SLOSS made an impressive debut in the top tier of French GT4 competition, finishing fourth in the Am class and missing a podium by just half a second in treacherous wet conditions at Nogaro. The Scottish driver showed smart racecraft in her Mirage Racing Aston Martin, staying error-free while others struggled with the spray and limited visibility that defined race one.
- Teaming with experienced French driver David Levy, SLOSS demonstrated she could match pace with seasoned competitors, qualifying within a tenth of her teammate’s time despite learning the technical Nogaro circuit for the first time. Their qualifying performances put them third and fourth in Am class, setting up what should have been a strong weekend for podium challenges.
- Race two heartbreak struck when Levy’s contact with another car in the opening laps ended their weekend prematurely, robbing SLOSS of the chance to show her dry-weather potential after proving her wet-weather skills. The incident highlighted how quickly fortunes can change in motorsport, especially when you’re relying on a teammate’s performance for half the race distance in this endurance format.
