GRRL! SUMMARY:
- DANIELLA SUTTON proved she belongs with the frontrunners at Snetterton, qualifying fifth in treacherous wet conditions and showing the kind of pace that separated her from the midfield pack by nearly two seconds. The Race Car Consultants driver demonstrated exactly why she’s established herself in the championship hunt – consistent speed regardless of what Mother Nature throws at her.
- While Race 1 served up the inevitable contact drama that shuffled SUTTON down to 12th, she did what good drivers do: put her head down and fought back. Her charge through the field showed she had the second-fastest pace on track, ultimately recovering to seventh after penalties shook up the order. Race 2 delivered the goods with a clean fifth-place finish, including a smart pass on fellow female competitor Callie Clifford.
- The wet finale showcased SUTTON at her finest, rocketing from fifth to second in a single spectacular lap that had the paddock taking notice. Running side-by-side for a podium position on the final lap, she and Christopher Doble both went searching for grip in impossible conditions. Contact with Oliver Heron cost her dearly, but watching her nearly steal a maiden podium in those conditions? That’s championship material right there, and Silverstone can’t come soon enough.
