GRRL! SUMMARY:

  • HANNAH GRISHAM dominated at Mugello, securing GT3 Am class victory in just her second GT3 race ever. Teaming with Ian James and Gray Newell for Heart of Racing by SPS, she not only claimed the class win but also finished second overall after a penalty promoted the trio. The American showed serious pace throughout the weekend, setting the fastest GT3 Am qualifying time by nearly half a second despite being up against seasoned pros on a track she’d never seen before.
  • The 12-hour endurance test became GRISHAM’s masterclass in wet weather driving and race craft. She navigated challenging conditions during Saturday’s rain-soaked opening segment, maintaining class leadership through strategic tire choices while others struggled on slicks. Her consistency shone during fuel-saving stints on Sunday – a completely new experience for her in GT3 machinery – yet she managed pace perfectly while preserving their substantial three-lap class advantage.
  • This victory caps an impressive GT3 debut season for GRISHAM, who podiumed in her very first GT3 outing at the Dubai 24 Hours earlier this year. Her rapid adaptation to European racing and complex endurance strategy while competing against established GT3 veterans shows the kind of talent that doesn’t come around often. With momentum building from two strong GT3 performances, she now heads to Pirelli GT4 America at Sonoma, where we expect more of the same calculated excellence.
