ISABELL RUSTAD Posts P10 & P7 Finishes, Extends Rookie Lead at Gelleråsen

ISABELL RUSTAD collected 10th and 7th place finishes at Gelleråsen Arena, strengthening her rookie championship lead while maintaining seventh overall in Porsche Carrera Cup Scandinavia. The Norwegian driver for HTB Racing/Fragus Motorsport qualified consistently in the top 8 but battled technical setbacks including wheelspin at the start of Race 1 and aero damage that caused understeer throughout the remainder of that race.
Race 2 showcased RUSTAD’s racecraft as she fought back from losing a position at the start to eventually overtake teammate Wallenstam in a late-race move that saw contact but allowed her to claim seventh. Despite the results falling short of her expectations, she noted significant pace improvements, running only two to three tenths off the fastest times when driving freely—a crucial step forward in her development.
Looking ahead to her home round at Rudskogen Motorsenter, RUSTAD sits just four points behind sixth place overall and has set her sights on a top-5 finish. As the only Norwegian on the grid, she’ll have the advantage of home crowd support plus sponsors and family cheering her on at the track where she’s targeting her best result of the season.
