CHLOE CHONG Lands Charlotte Tilbury Deal, Youngest F1 Academy Driver at 17

• CHLOE CHONG made F1 Academy history in 2023 as the youngest-ever driver at just 15, starting her journey at the same Buckmore Park track where Lewis Hamilton began. Now 17 and juggling A-levels with racing around the world, she secured a top-six finish in her very first car race and ended her debut season with a four-race scoring streak that proved she belongs on track.
• The teenager just landed the dream sponsorship deal with Charlotte Tilbury’s F1 Academy program, becoming the face of the first female-founded brand to sponsor the series. Despite calling herself “anything but a girly girl,” CHONG sees the partnership as crucial for bringing new audiences to racing and creating the role models she never had growing up – except for Susie Wolff.
• Beyond racing at 150mph while still studying, CHONG plays eight instruments and uses music to prepare mentally for races. Her independence journey included having teammate Bianca Bustamante become her legal guardian for travel, and she recently passed her regular driving test (which stressed her out more than racing). The partnership includes funding free karting sessions for young girls, breaking down barriers that keep the next generation away from the sport.
