• DORIANE PIN returns to Jeddah leading the championship but carrying baggage from last year’s crushing penalty that cost her a dominant double victory. After a team miscommunication led her to complete extra laps thinking the race wasn’t over, she was handed a 20-second penalty that dropped her from first to ninth. Now six points clear at the top, she’s hunting for the redemption story we all want to see.
• MAYA WEUG arrives in Saudi Arabia as the driver to beat after topping the timing sheets on the final day of pre-race testing. Her strong testing performance – fastest on day three, second-fastest on day two – suggests she’s finally found the consistency that eluded her during last season’s title chase. Currently second in points after solid podium finishes in China, she’s positioned perfectly to challenge PIN’s early lead.
• Rookie ALISHA PALMOWSKI is emerging as the dark horse we didn’t see coming, and honestly, we should have. After winning her debut race in China and backing it up with a P2, she’s sitting fourth in points with 18 already banked.
