• The Iron Dames squad delivered an impressive comeback performance at the Bahrain WEC season finale, with RAHEL FREY from Switzerland, French driver CÉLIA MARTIN, and Denmark’s MICHELLE GATTING bringing their Manthey-run Porsche 911 GT3 R home in 12th place. The trio’s solid finish capped off what GATTING candidly described as a challenging season where “everything went against us,” but one that provided valuable learning experiences for the all-female crew.
• While the Iron Dames fought their way through adversity, their Manthey teammates were celebrating championship glory. Richard Lietz, Riccardo Pera, and Ryan Hardwick secured both the drivers’ crown and team championship in LMGT3, marking Manthey’s second consecutive title in just the second year of the category. The winning crew started 18th on the grid and methodically worked their way up to fourth place, demonstrating the kind of strategic racecraft that separates champions from the field.
