Celia Martin
WEC racing // Bordeaux, France
Celia Martin is a French racing driver who started her career at age 27 and has risen to prominence through endurance racing, particularly at the Nürburgring circuit in Germany.
EARLY YEARS
Born on October 4, 1991 in France, Celia began her motorsports journey relatively late at age 27. Unlike many professional racers, she didn’t come from a racing family background. In 2017, she made the significant decision to relocate to Adenau, Germany to pursue her racing ambitions. Prior to becoming a driver herself, Martin gained valuable experience in team management, running a Peugeot team in the Creventic 24 Hour Series.
EARLY SUCCESS
After moving to Germany in 2017, Celia quickly established herself at the Nürburgring, initially working as a test driver and “Ring Taxi” chauffeur with Jaguar Land-Rover. Her competitive racing career began in the RCN series in 2017, followed by wheel-to-wheel racing in the 2018 VLN series driving a BMW M235i for the Mathol team. A major breakthrough came in 2019 when she secured a seat in the Jaguar I-Pace eTrophy, competing in the Pro-Am class and achieving impressive results including sixth place in Paris and eighth places in Monaco and Berlin. Following the eTrophy, she returned to the Nürburgring and joined the “Girls Only” team, which led to victories and podium finishes in the VLN and the Nürburgring 24 Hours.

REPUTATION
Martin has established herself as a versatile and determined competitor in the motorsports world. As the first French woman to compete on the historic Nürburgring track in Germany, she has broken barriers in a male-dominated sport. Her impressive performances across various racing categories demonstrate adaptability and skill, particularly in endurance racing. The invitation to join the prestigious all-female Iron Dames team further validates her growing reputation in the international racing community.
FUTURE GOALS/PLANS
For 2025, Celia has been promoted to Iron Dames’ lead driver lineup as a Bronze-rated driver, where she’ll compete in the FIA World Endurance Championship and IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship[5]. Her ambitious racing calendar will also include participation in the European Le Mans Series and Asian Le Mans Series, all racing Porsche machinery. This comprehensive program represents a significant step forward in her endurance racing career and positions her for potential success at prestigious events like the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
