February 19, 2025
GRRL! SUMMARY:
- LILOU WADOUX and KEI COZZOLINO are back with PONOS Racing for the 2025 SUPER GT season, building on their breakthrough 2024 campaign that delivered both drivers their first career podiums at Sportsland Sugo. The duo finished 12th in the GT300 Drivers’ Championship with multiple top-ten finishes, proving they belong in Japan’s premier sports car series.
- This season marks a historic milestone: with WADOUX returning and MIKI KOYAMA driving full-time for äpr, 2025 will be the first time in SUPER GT/JGTC history that two women will compete together in every round. It’s the kind of representation we’ve been waiting decades to see in one of Asia’s most competitive racing series.
- WADOUX will split her time strategically, prioritizing SUPER GT while also tackling non-conflicting rounds of IMSA’s Michelin Endurance Cup and European Le Mans Series with AF Corse. Meanwhile, COZZOLINO extends her PONOS commitment to the SRO Japan Cup GT3 Pro-Am category and the team’s debut at the Intercontinental GT Challenge Suzuka 1000km alongside CEO Yorikatsu Tsujiko and Yusuke Yamasaki.
