• LONI UNSER delivered when it mattered most, securing vice-champion honors in Porsche Sprint Challenge’s Cayman Pro/Am class with back-to-back podium finishes at Road Atlanta. Her second and third-place results capped off a stellar season that included nine podiums in twelve races, proving she’s not just consistent but clutch when championship points are on the line.
• The weekend’s highlight came when UNSER and teammate ERIKA HOFFMANN delivered an all-female Kellymoss 1-2 finish in race one after race leader Jens Hantson suffered a technical failure. Their fierce but respectful battles throughout both races showcased exactly what happens when talented women get equal machinery – they deliver wheel-to-wheel racing that had everyone talking.
• UNSER’s championship rival ANNA CECCHI made things interesting by creating contact in turn one of race two, but LONI kept her cool and her car clean while Cecchi spun herself out of contention.
