GRRL! SUMMARY:
- MADDI GORDON became the first driver to top 340 mph at Las Vegas on Friday at 340.56, then reclaimed the track speed record Sunday at 340.82 mph after yielding it briefly to Billy Torrence.
- Gordon’s 340.82-mph blast came in a losing first-round effort against Antron Brown, showing the Carlyle Tools dragster had serious pace even without a win light.
- LEAH PRUETT advanced to the final round before falling to points-chaser Doug Kalitta, moving her to fourth in Top Fuel standings ahead of husband Tony Stewart.
- Pruett is set to vacate her seat after Pomona to focus on family — the same Pomona venue where Kalitta beat her in a winner-take-all 2023 finale, adding extra drama to the season closer.
UPCOMING:
- NHRA In-N-Out Burger Finals, Pomona, California — approximately Saturday, Nov 14, 2026 (qualifying session where postponed Pro Stock Motorcycle final will be resolved)
