GRRL! SUMMARY:
- MADDI GORDON clocked 340.56 mph in Top Fuel Q1, the first 340-mph pass in Las Vegas Motor Speedway history, on a 3.724 ET — a landmark moment for the rising rookie.
- ALEXIS DEJORIA led Funny Car Q1 with a 3.874 in her new Bandero Premium Tequila entry, chasing a third Vegas win and the diamond Wally that eluded her earlier this season.
- ERICA ENDERS, who has virtually owned Las Vegas in her Pro Stock career, ran a 6.662 for the No. 4 spot in Q1 and held the fourth position after two sessions.
- KAREN STOFFER was among four Pro Stock Motorcycle riders who ran before rain halted Q1, though she shut off early in difficult conditions at the altitude track.
- JIANNA EVARISTO’s JHG Buell, ridden by Joey Gladstone, topped PSM Q2 — Gladstone dedicating the bonus money to the incoming baby Evaristo in a sweet team moment.
