We’re tracking powerhouse duo SHELBY HALL and RORI LEWIS (Team Desert Roots), who’ve held pole positions for years running – Hall’s Ford Performance desert racing pedigree paired with Lewis’s navigation prowess makes them formidable contenders in their Bronco.
• Business consultant SUSAN PIEPER and Montana outdoorswoman ELISE YOUNG (Team Warner Grins & Grit) exemplify the rally’s strategic partnership dynamic, with Pieper handling vehicle operations while Young focuses purely on navigation in their Ineos Grenadier. Meanwhile, automotive journalist JILL CIMINILLO teams with driver LISA “LOLA” WOLFORD (Team Sol Seekers), bringing media expertise and personal motivation to their desert campaign.
• Veteran competitors LIZA BERES and JENNE FRIBLEY (Team Overland Her) are already eyeing the 2027 Dakar Rally after their Rebelle success, while automotive media personality EMME HALL returns from hiatus to navigate with rally instructor KENDRA MILLER (Team Desert Disco) in a Subaru-sponsored Crosstrek Wilderness.
