GRRL! SUMMARY:

  • SABRÉ COOK showed she’s not backing down from anyone at Road Atlanta, making bold moves in both races from 15th on the grid. In race one, she immediately went on the attack, overtaking both Michael McCann and MADELINE STEWART at turn one to jump to 13th—only to have a gearbox failure rob her of a potential top-10 finish when she was running strong pace.
  • Race two became an intense teammate battle as COOK and STEWART went wheel-to-wheel for 14th position, with STEWART applying serious pressure through the middle sector. The racing got heated enough for race control to issue STEWART a warning after light contact, but COOK held her ground and protected her position with smart defensive driving that would make any veteran proud.
  • While 12th might not sound spectacular, COOK’s weekend showed exactly the kind of grit we need more of in motorsports. She turned what could have been a disaster weekend into points, demonstrating the racecraft that earned her a season-best 9th at Indianapolis. With one race left at Circuit of the Americas, she’s proven she belongs in the fight and isn’t giving anyone an easy pass.

UPCOMING:

  • Porsche Carrera Cup North America Season Finale – Circuit of the Americas
