Canadian driver SAMANTHA TAN delivered a masterclass in her 24h Nürburgring debut, climbing nearly 90 positions from her starting spot to claim a podium finish in the SP3T class. Racing with Bulldog Racing’s MINI John Cooper Works just one week after her Le Mans debut, TAN showed the kind of calculated aggression that separates the contenders from the pretenders on the Nordschleife. Her steady progress throughout the grueling race proved that her previous NLS experience and GT3/GT4 background translated perfectly to endurance racing’s ultimate test.
MICHELLE HALDER proved why she belongs among Europe’s elite touring car drivers, securing third place in the AT2 class with Four Motors Bio-Concept’s Porsche 992 GT3 Cup. Despite early qualifying setbacks and a challenging race that included a two-hour red flag due to pit lane power outages, HALDER and her team executed flawless race strategy. Her experience from top-level TCR championships showed as she maintained composure through the demanding 25.378 km circuit, ultimately bringing home hardware from one of motorsport’s most punishing events.
Former W Series competitor and Formula Regional Japan champion MIKI KOYAMA faced the harsh reality of Nürburgring racing in her debut, finishing sixth in SP8T after early contact damaged her Toyota GR Supra GT4 EVO. Despite being part of a factory-supported Ring Racing effort and having prepared through previous NLS rounds, KOYAMA’s race was compromised by suspension damage from a collision and subsequent penalties. While the result didn’t reflect her talent, completing 84 laps on the Nordschleife represents valuable experience for the young Japanese driver’s continued development in GT racing.
