• SARA PRICE secured her first Dakar podium with second place in the new Stock category, recovering from a catastrophic 2.5-hour delay on day one after a rear control arm failure, methodically climbing from fifth through consistent driving.
• The California racer became the first American woman to win a Dakar stage in 2024, won 17 national amateur motocross titles, and claimed the SCORE International Trophy Truck Spec Championship in 2019 as the first woman ever.
• PRICE praised the Defender D7X-R’s endurance through brutal terrain: “There are times when you can’t check up for things, and you just have to bash through stuff. And the Defender OCTAs took it like a champ.”
