October 18, 2026

GRRL! SUMMARY:

  • History made at Phoenix: TAYLOR REIMER, HAILIE DEEGAN, JADE AVEDISIAN, QUINN DAVIS, MIA LOVELL, and DYSTANY SPURLOCK became the first six women to compete in a single ARCA Menards Series West race.
  • DYSTANY SPURLOCK carried extra significance — already the first Black woman in ARCA regional and national play in 2026, she also became the first Black woman to qualify and race in a NASCAR national touring series event at Dover.
  • The field brought diverse pedigrees: DEEGAN with NASCAR national series experience, REIMER and AVEDISIAN from dirt-track backgrounds, and LOVELL steadily building her stock-car resume.
  • The six-woman field matched the all-time ARCA record set at Daytona in 2010, elevating the West Series to the same historic benchmark as the wider ARCA platform.
  • ISABELLA ROBUSTO had been on the original entry list — which would have set an even higher mark of seven — but her withdrawal still left enough to shatter the previous West Series record of five.
