GRRL! SUMMARY:
- SUMMER RINTOULE and co-driver Jarred Hughes transitioned from Mercedes to McLaren Artura GT4 with Method Motorsport, battling through difficult wet qualifying that left them P30 but showing strong pace in practice sessions.
- Despite starting penalties and mid-race infractions, RINTOULE delivered aggressive opening-lap overtakes in Race 2, moving from P30 into the top-25 before handing off to Hughes for their strategic undercut pit stop.
- Hughes charged from P12 to P7 overall before a 20-second penalty for illegal pit entry dropped the duo to P13 overall, still securing P8 in Silver class after strong pace adaptation.
- RINTOULE, coming off six podiums and P3 Silver class finish in 2025, described the McLaren as “a little go-kart on wheels” while posting fast lap times and adjusting to platform differences from her previous Mercedes.
UPCOMING:
- Liqui Moly GT Festival the Bend, May 8-10, 2026
