GRRL! SUMMARY:
- RIONA TOMISHITA delivered another commanding performance at Autopolis, securing her second ST-2 class win of the season alongside teammates Hibiki Taira and Tokiya Suzuki. The #225 KTMS Toyota trio dominated the second half of the five-hour endurance race, with TOMISHITA setting the fastest lap among her teammates and helping orchestrate a strategic climb from seventh in class to an unchallenged victory that moved her into second place in the championship standings.
- SHION TSUJIMOTO made her racing comeback count in spectacular fashion, claiming her maiden ST-Q victory after nearly a year away from competition. The former Kyojo Cup champion led all 139 laps in the #271 HRC Honda, finishing two laps ahead of the nearest competitor in a performance that reminded everyone exactly why we missed her on track. This marked her third Super Taikyu class win overall, adding to her two ST-TCR victories from last season.
- ANNA INOTSUME continued building her case as one of Super Taikyu’s most consistent performers, scoring her career-best result with second place overall in the ST-X class. The #101 Hitotsuyama Audi driver benefited from a late-race penalty to the leading #23 TKRI Mercedes, but her team’s strategic execution throughout the five-hour marathon put them in position to capitalize when opportunity knocked, marking her second overall podium of the season.
UPCOMING:
- Super Taikyu Round 6
- Super Taikyu Championship Finale
