Abby's bio:

Abhisha “Abby” Rakshit is a strategy and operations expert who’s carved out a rare space for herself as one of the few women analyzing Formula 1 through the lens of business, tech, and culture—proving you don’t need to be behind the wheel to drive change in motorsport.

EARLY YEARS

Abby Rakshit’s story begins in India, where she grew up before making the leap to the United States as an immigrant entrepreneur. That move—crossing continents with ambition and grit—shaped the perspective she’d bring to every industry she touched. She pursued her education with focus, earning a Master’s degree in Information Systems and Operations Management with a specialization in Supply Chain Management from the University of Florida. It was the kind of degree that opened doors, but Abby had every intention of kicking them wide open herself.

OTHER INTERESTS

Beyond the boardroom and the racetrack analysis, Abby is deeply invested in creating platforms that amplify underrepresented voices—particularly women—in sports and tech. Her work isn’t just about crunching numbers or dissecting strategy; it’s about shifting narratives and making space where there wasn’t any before. She’s a podcaster, a thought leader, and an advocate for accessibility in industries that have historically gatekept hard.

EARLY SUCCESS

Rakshit kicked off her career at Cummins Inc. in 2014 as a supplier capacity engineer, and it didn’t take long for her to prove she wasn’t just another hire. By 2016, she was promoted to senior sourcing operations lead, a role that put her in charge of global supply chain strategy and operations. She was one of the youngest members of Cummins’ Corporate Strategy team—a distinction that said everything about her ability to think big and execute bigger. Her work redefined operations strategy across 26 global markets, optimizing fleet performance by streamlining maintenance processes and implementing systems that made things run smoother, faster, smarter.

From there, Abby transitioned to McKinsey & Company, where she worked as an engagement manager specializing in strategy and operations. At one of the most prestigious consulting firms in the world, she applied her industrial engineering and supply chain expertise to clients across automotive, technology, and sports industries. It was at McKinsey that her unique ability to connect dots across sectors—tech, transportation, motorsport—really started to shine.

NOTABLE ACHIEVEMENTS

  • 2014: Began career at Cummins Inc. as a supplier capacity engineer[1].
  • 2016: Promoted to senior sourcing operations lead at Cummins, becoming one of the youngest members of the Corporate Strategy team[2].
  • 2023: Led the first-ever Formula 1 panel at SXSW, titled “F1® – Real World Impact on Transportation & Culture,” making history by bringing F1 strategy discourse to one of the world’s most influential tech and culture festivals[3].
  • 2023: Founded Racing Forces Media, a platform where she hosts podcasts and produces content analyzing Formula 1 from strategic, operational, and cultural angles[4].
  • 2024: Published an op-ed in Sportico examining what brands get out of Formula 1, which trended on Apple News+[5].
  • 2024: Attended the Miami Grand Prix as a guest of F1 Academy, where she provided expert commentary on the growing role of women in motorsport[6].
  • Inducted into the Marquis Who’s Who Biographical Registry in recognition of her contributions to strategy, operations, and sports media[7].
  • Founded Season Inc., a tech startup focused on making sports more accessible for women using scalable technology solutions and AI[8].

INSPIRATIONS

While specific personal inspirations aren’t detailed in available sources, Abby’s work speaks volumes about what drives her: representation, accessibility, and the belief that women belong in every corner of motorsport and tech—not as tokens, but as leaders, strategists, and game-changers. Her immigrant experience also informs her entrepreneurial approach, bringing a perspective that’s both global and deeply personal.

REPUTATION

Rakshit has built a reputation as one of the few strategy experts in the U.S. who can break down Formula 1 with the rigor of a McKinsey consultant and the accessibility of a great storyteller. She’s known for her sharp insights into how F1 intersects with transportation, technology, and culture—and for doing it all while advocating loudly for women in motorsport. Her podcast, Racing Forces, has become a go-to for fans who want more than just race recaps; they want the why and the how behind the sport. She’s been featured across major outlets, from Jalopnik to Sportico to Tech Times, and is frequently cited as a leading voice on the business and cultural impact of motorsport. Abby doesn’t just analyze the game—she’s changing it.

FUTURE GOALS/PLANS

Abby is steering her focus toward her startup, Season Inc., which aims to revolutionize sports tech by addressing key industry gaps and tapping into the power of AI to make sports more accessible for women. It’s a bold move that combines her expertise in strategy, operations, and her passion for breaking down barriers. She’s also continuing to expand Racing Forces Media, producing content that bridges the gap between hardcore motorsport fans and those who are just discovering the sport’s cultural and technological relevance. Expect Abby to keep pushing conversations forward—whether that’s through panels, podcasts, or the next big tech innovation in sports.
