FULL BIO: Becca Monopoli
Becca Monopoli has dominated Florida’s Pro Truck scene with over 90 victories and 20 championships before making her leap to national competition in the ARCA Menards Series. This Lakeland native proves that sometimes the best route to the top starts with mastering your home turf first.
EARLY YEARS
Born Rebecca “Becca” Monopoli on June 28, 1989, in Lakeland, Florida, she grew up in the heart of short track racing country. Florida’s vibrant local racing scene provided the perfect backdrop for a future champion, though details about her family background and early exposure to motorsports remain private. Unlike many drivers who start in karting, Becca jumped straight into Pro Truck racing in her early twenties.
OTHER INTERESTS
When she’s not tearing up the track, Becca describes herself as a “book dragon” with a serious reading habit. She’s also a devoted dog mom and takes care of turtles, calling herself a “Turt & Tort mom” on social media. Her love for animals and literature shows there’s more to this speed demon than just horsepower and checkered flags.
EARLY SUCCESS
Becca’s racing career took off immediately in Florida’s competitive Pro Truck series. By 2011, she was already making waves at Auburndale Speedway, earning Driver of the Year honors and claiming the Semi-Pro State Championship. The following year, she captured the Orlando Speedworld Track Championship, establishing herself as a force to be reckoned with on Florida’s short tracks. Her decision to skip traditional developmental series and dive straight into Pro Trucks proved brilliant.
NOTABLE ACHIEVEMENTS
- 2011: Auburndale Speedway Driver of the Year
- 2011: Semi-Pro State Champion
- 2012: Orlando Speedworld Track Champion
- 2024: ARCA Menards Series debut at Circle City 200, Indianapolis Raceway Park
- 2024: First ARCA Daytona appearance
INSPIRATIONS
While Becca keeps her personal motivations and racing heroes close to the vest, her consistent success suggests she’s driven by an internal fire that doesn’t need external validation. Her journey from Florida short tracks to national series speaks to someone who believes in earning every opportunity through proven performance.
REPUTATION
In Pro Truck circles, Becca is known for her remarkable consistency and competitive fire. With over 90 victories across Florida tracks, she’s built a reputation as someone who shows up to win, not just participate. Her transition to ARCA has been met with positive reception from media and fans who appreciate her methodical approach to climbing the racing ladder. She’s contributing to increased female representation in national stock car racing without making a big show of it—just letting her results do the talking.
FUTURE GOALS/PLANS
For 2025, Becca continues her part-time ARCA Menards Series campaign, driving the No. 85 for City Garage Motorsports and the No. 86 Toyota for Clubb Racing Inc. Her appearance at the 2025 Ride the ‘Dente 200 at Daytona shows she’s committed to gaining experience at NASCAR’s most prestigious venues. While she hasn’t publicly outlined long-term career goals, her steady progression suggests someone building toward bigger opportunities in stock car racing.
