Kaleigh's full bio:

Kaleigh Miller is a three-time Rebelle Rally champion and one of the most accomplished navigators in American off-road racing, known for her precision, tactical brilliance, and ability to stay cool under pressure in the toughest desert terrain.

EARLY YEARS

Born in Tucson, Arizona, Kaleigh grew up with the desert in her backyard and developed an early appreciation for the outdoors and adventure. She spent most of her life in Arizona, aside from a stint in Austin, Texas, where she attended graduate school at The University of Texas at Austin, earning her Master of Professional Accounting between 2009 and 2010. Her roots in Tucson ran deep, and she would eventually return to the Southwest, where both her professional career and her passion for off-road racing would take off.[1][2][3]

Her entry into the world of Jeeps and off-roading came with a side of romance—Kaleigh jokes that while she was out hunting for the perfect Jeep, she ended up landing a husband instead. It was a pivotal moment that set her on a path toward competitive navigation and rally racing.[4]

OTHER INTERESTS

Beyond the rally world, Kaleigh balances her life as a wife and mother. She’s married to someone she describes as “the best husband (statistically proven)” and is mom to a toddler she proudly calls “the cutest 2-year-old (based on Instagram comments).”[5] Her humor and relatability shine through in interviews, where she’s quick to crack a joke about motherhood, Instagram validation, or the quirks of rally life.

Kaleigh also contributed to her community as part of the Leaders of Polk Class XI in 2024, where her team placed third in the Derby Dash while raising funds for Lakeland Volunteers in Medicine. She later rejoined the Swan Derby family, blending her competitive spirit with meaningful civic engagement.[6]

EARLY SUCCESS

Kaleigh’s first major victory came in 2016 when she won the Rebelle Rally in the 4×4 class. The Rebelle Rally—the longest off-road navigation rally in the United States and the first all-women’s competition of its kind—was the perfect proving ground for her skills. No GPS, no pre-running, just old-school maps, compasses, and grit.[7][8]

She returned in 2017 alongside driver Teralin Petereit, forming Team Blondetourage. The duo clicked immediately, combining sharp navigation with smart driving to claim another overall victory. Their chemistry was undeniable, and they quickly became one of the most formidable teams in the rally’s history.[9][10]

NOTABLE ACHIEVEMENTS

  • 2016: Won Rebelle Rally, 4×4 class.[7]
  • 2017: Won Rebelle Rally overall with Teralin Petereit as Team Blondetourage.[9]
  • 2020: Won Rebelle Rally overall for the third time with Teralin Petereit in a 2020 Jeep JLU, scoring 1,427 points and finishing 28 points ahead of the competition.[11][12]
  • 2023: Returned to the Rebelle Rally after a seven-year hiatus to compete in the X-Cross class as part of Team Ford, navigating for driver Bailey Campbell in the all-electric Mustang Mach-E Rally.[13][14]

INSPIRATIONS

Kaleigh credits much of her driving education to what she calls “learning to drive the Miller way”—a nod to her family’s influence and her own trial-by-fire experiences in off-road environments. She’s spoken about the importance of preparation, adaptability, and maintaining composure under stress, all qualities that have defined her rally career.[4]

Her partnership with Teralin Petereit has also been a source of inspiration and motivation. The two made a pact early on to compete together, and their trust in each other has been a cornerstone of their success. Kaleigh has said that their ability to communicate clearly and stay calm in high-pressure situations is what sets them apart from other teams.[15]

REPUTATION

With three Rebelle Rally victories under her belt, Kaleigh is tied with Teralin Petereit for the most wins in the event’s history. She’s earned a reputation as one of the most precise and strategic navigators in off-road racing, with an ability to read terrain, anticipate challenges, and keep her team on course even when conditions get brutal.[16][17]

Her return to competition in 2023 after years away demonstrated not only her enduring skill but also her willingness to embrace new challenges. Competing in the X-Cross class with an all-electric vehicle was uncharted territory, but Kaleigh approached it with the same confidence and professionalism that defined her earlier victories. Fellow competitors and fans regard her as both a legend and a mentor in the rally community.[13][18]

FUTURE GOALS/PLANS

Kaleigh continues to compete at the Rebelle Rally, with her 2025 participation marking her ninth time at the event. She remains one of the most experienced and decorated competitors in the field, and her presence continues to raise the bar for navigation and teamwork.[19]
