Mercury's bio:
Mercury Lien — known online as Mercurial Mouse — is an Australian drifter who turned a spontaneous appearance at a local motorsport event into a career behind the wheel of a holographic pink, LS-powered Nissan 350Z. [1]
EARLY YEARS
The available record doesn’t document Mercury Lien’s family background, where she grew up, or her age when she first got behind a wheel. What is documented is the moment the sport clicked. She had long been drawn to the idea of motorsport — video games were a fixture of her younger years — but she never considered it a realistic path until she stumbled across a local event run by the Central Queensland Motorsport Club. [2] “I always gravitated to wanting to try motorsport. I played a lot of video games and stuff when I was younger, but I never really thought motorsport would be possible for me until I saw one of the local events held by Central Queensland Motorsport Club,” she told Rockynats in April 2025. [2] She didn’t wait for a better car or a better moment. “I thought, ‘Well, if not now, when?’ I turned up in my little daily car and had an absolute blast. And I think that was the moment I decided, okay, this is my life now.” [2]
OTHER INTERESTS
Lien is a fashion enthusiast and cosplayer with a preference for feminine and floral styling — pink and cherry blossoms in particular — and she treats her drift car as an extension of that aesthetic rather than a separate part of her life. [1] The 350Z is, in her words, a canvas. She designed the car’s look and some of its sponsor logos herself, working on an iPad, before bringing the design to Revs Paint Supplies. The actual paint job happened in a dusty old shed. [2] The result is a holographic pink machine that reads less like a racing livery and more like a deliberate statement. [3]
She is also a content creator, and visibility is clearly part of the plan. [1] Lien has said she hopes children who encounter her car will see motorsport as something that could belong to them too — that even inspiring one child would mean she had done her job. [2]
EARLY SUCCESS
In 2025, Lien was selected as one of the drivers for the World Time Attack Challenge’s all-female drift showcase, “Yeah The Girls,” with demonstration runs scheduled for September 5–6 at WTAC. She competed in her Nissan 350Z. [1] The event was a demonstration rather than a scored competition, but her inclusion placed her among a deliberately assembled group of Australian women driving the sport’s visibility in a meaningful public context.
In 2026, Lien brought her LS-swapped Nissan 350Z — registered as car No. 73 — from Queensland to MotorEx, where she took part in drifting demonstrations. [4] Around the same time, she was confirmed as a WTAC Drift competitor in the 2026 entry listings. [5]

REPUTATION
WTAC describes Mercury Lien as both a driver and a content creator. Its 2026 Mayhem After Dark announcement singled out her holographic pink, six-litre LS-powered Nissan 350Z as part of the draw for the event’s drift lineup. [3] The framing — car and creator together — reflects how she has positioned herself in the sport: the build, the aesthetic, and the platform are all part of the same project. Her passion for inspiring the next generation of automotive enthusiasts, particularly children, is noted in WTAC’s coverage of the 2025 “Yeah The Girls” showcase. [1]
FUTURE GOALS/PLANS
As of mid-2026, Lien is confirmed in the WTAC Drift competitor listings for the upcoming event, driving the Nissan 350Z No. 73. [5] She is also part of the announced lineup for WTAC’s 2026 Mayhem After Dark showcase as a member of the “Yeah The Girls” crew. [3] No team affiliation or results from either appearance had been confirmed at the time the available sources were published.
