F1 Academy certainly delivered in its first appearance as a support race for the British Grand Prix, with championship contenders Alisha Palmowski and Emma Felbermayr picking up victories, but it was Wildcard driver Chiara Battig who stole the show.

Battig became the first wildcard driver to take pole, and the youngest pole sitter in F1 Academy history, en route to a P2 finish in the feature race and 22 points on the entire weekend.
