GRRL! SUMMARY:
- BRITTANY FORCE closed out her 13-year NHRA career as the most accomplished woman in Top Fuel history, collecting 19 Wallys from 40 final-round appearances. Her final weekend was rained out at Pomona, but she finished fourth in points and went out like a champion – her last pass was a win light in Las Vegas that put her in the winner’s circle.
- The 39-year-old didn’t just win races, she rewrote the record books entirely. FORCE holds both the elapsed time record (3.623 seconds in 2019) and the speed record, which she broke four times this season alone before hitting 343.51 mph at the US Nationals in September. That’s not just female records – those are the absolute fastest marks in the sport.
- FORCE announced her retirement in September to focus on starting a family with husband Bobby Lyons Jr., stepping away on her own terms after building a legacy that future generations of female racers will chase. She thanked her Monster Energy team and John Force Racing for supporting a career that proved women don’t just belong in Top Fuel – they can dominate it.
UPCOMING:
- 2025 NHRA Season Finale at Pomona
