• ELLA STEVENS stepped into her first single-seater at Algarve this week with Rodin Motorsport, marking a significant milestone for the McLaren F1 junior who’s gearing up for her F1 Academy campaign later this year. While she’s still finding her feet in the formula car – the learning curve is steep when you’re jumping from karting.
• ZOE FLORESCU POTOLEA brings legitimate pedigree to Campos Racing after winning the junior classification in the FIA’s Girls on Track Rising Stars programme at just 13 years old. Her karting results might not jump off the page, but 19th in WSK’s Super Master Series in shifter karts shows she can handle serious machinery. The Italo-Romanian represents the pipeline working as intended – FDA backing, proper development, and now getting her shot in formula racing.
• CHIARA BATTIG remains the lone survivor from Campos Racing’s all-female trio that opened the season at Estoril, where she actually delivered with a podium finish. While her teammates RAFELA FERREIRA and ALISHA PALMOWSKI (who claimed pole) have moved on, Battig proved she belongs at this level and gets to continue her development with a team that clearly believes in women’s racing talent.
