• MICHELLE GATTING and the Iron Dames team are looking to bounce back from a disappointing Qatar opener where their Porsche 911 GT3 R finished 12th. Starting 14th at Imola, Gatting feels confident the team has found better pace on the Italian circuit and can fight for championship points this time around.
• The Danish driver acknowledges that replicating last year’s standout performance was always going to be challenging, but she’s taking a measured approach to progress. GATTING highlighted tire management as crucial at Imola, particularly on the right side, noting it’s an area where Iron Dames traditionally excels.
• While Ferrari dominates the weekend with pole position and practice session sweeps, the LMGT3 field remains competitive. Both Iron Dames and Manthey 1st Phorm struggled for pace at Qatar but feel more optimistic about their chances at the historic Italian venue, setting up what could be a redemption story for the women’s racing team.
