- Iron Lynx completed a productive transition to Mercedes-AMG machinery at the WEC Prologue, logging over 1,500km across their two LMGT3 entries at Lusail International Circuit. The team tackled various conditions including different lighting, asphalt states, and temperatures as they familiarized themselves with their new Stuttgart-built weapons.
- Driver Maxime Martin, fresh from his BMW departure, expressed confidence in the learning curve despite this being Mercedes’ inaugural LMGT3 test. The team focused heavily on tire management for double stints and engine optimization, while bronze drivers Christian Reid and Claudio Schiavoni got crucial seat time in the new machinery.
- Team CEO Andrea Piccini praised the constructive atmosphere and tangible progress, noting the relaxed but focused approach to finding setup compromises. With the Qatar 1812km season opener looming on February 28th, Iron Lynx appears optimistic about stronger reliability and results compared to last year’s Lamborghini struggles.
