DORIANE PIN Commands LMP2 Qualifying at Le Mans

  • DORIANE PIN, F1 Academy champion, demolished the LMP2 field by over 0.5s, asserting dominance over teenager Ian Aguilera. Both Australians Jack Doohan and James Allen advanced to Hyperpole.
  • Alpine secured provisional Hypercar pole by 0.013s over Cadillac through Habsburg’s final run. Genesis Magma Racing impressed in their Le Mans debut, advancing both entries ahead of all Ferraris.
  • LMGT3 saw drama as Peter Dempsey’s pole-sitting Corvette was disqualified for diffuser violations, gifting provisional pole to Proton Competition’s Ford Mustang. Australia’s Martin Berry landed 10th.
  • Kiwi contingent showed mixed results: Earl Bamber’s Cadillac took fifth, Brendon Hartley eighth in Toyota, while Nick Cassidy’s Peugeot failed to advance with both 9X8s missing Hyperpole.
