  • JASMINE SALINAS claimed provisional pole with a blistering 3.794 at 328.38 mph, edging Antron Brown by four-thousandths while LEAH PRUETT qualified fourth at 3.819, and MADDI GORDON secured eighth.
  • ALEXIS DEJORIA wheeled her Camaro to provisional second in Funny Car with a stout 3.955 at 326.56 mph, trailing only Cruz Pedregon’s 3.926 after two qualifying rounds Friday.
  • ERICA ENDERS suffered a disastrous outing in Pro Stock, posting an 8.149 at just 121.10 mph to miss the 16-car field while all qualified entries ran sub-6.7-second passes.
