Erica Enders stands as one of motorsport’s most accomplished female racers, with six NHRA Pro Stock world championships and the distinction of being the winningest woman in professional motorsports history.
EARLY YEARS
Born on October 8, 1983, in Houston, Texas, Erica began her racing journey at just 8 years old when she entered the NHRA Jr. Drag Racing League in 1992. Her passion for motorsports was deeply rooted in family influence, as her father Greg Enders was an avid drag racer who introduced both Erica and her younger sister Courtney to the sport. Working on her father’s car and spending countless hours at the track shaped her early connection to racing.
EARLY SUCCESS
The young racer quickly established herself as a prodigy, claiming the Division 4 Jr. Dragster championship in 1993 and being named Junior Dragster Driver of the Year in 1995. At just 16, she made history as the youngest NHRA national event finalist at the time and earned the NHRA Sportsman Rookie of the Year award in 2000. Her remarkable journey gained national attention, eventually inspiring the 2003 Disney Channel Original Movie “Right On Track” that chronicled the racing careers of Erica and her sister Courtney.

- 2004: Won her first national event in Super Gas at Houston Raceway Park.
- 2005: Became the first woman to compete in NHRA Pro Stock since 1993 and first to qualify in the top half of a Pro Stock field.

While maintaining her commitment to Pro Stock racing, she has also expressed interest in potentially exploring Top Fuel racing in the future, demonstrating her endless pursuit of new challenges in motorsports.
