- KATHERINE LEGGE overcame Tuesday clutch problems in her No. 11 HMD/A.J. Foyt Racing Chevrolet to complete her refresher test Wednesday, earning clearance for her fifth Indianapolis 500 start.
- LEGGE will be the sole woman competing in the 110th Indianapolis 500 field of 33 drivers, representing HMD/A.J. Foyt Racing in the prestigious event scheduled for May 24.
- The veteran driver joined Ed Carpenter, Helio Castroneves, Jack Harvey, and Ryan Hunter-Reay in passing refresher tests during the two-day IMS Open Test at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
