KATHERINE LEGGE announced as HMD Motorsports with AJ Foyt Racing Chevrolet driver Monday, was sole competitor absent from Tuesday’s eight-hour opening test session featuring 32 cars and 2,262 incident-free laps.
LEGGE scheduled for solo refresher test Wednesday noon-1 p.m. ET at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, with general track activity resuming 10 a.m.-5 p.m. for all competitors.
Veterans Conor Daly, Helio Castroneves, and Takuma Sato topped speed charts at 225+ mph, demonstrating experience advantage as rookies Jacob Abel, Caio Collet, Dennis Hauger, and Mick Schumacher completed orientation.

Wednesday, April 29: Indianapolis 500 Open Test Day 2, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. ET with Katherine Legge refresher test noon-1 p.m.
Tuesday, May 12: Practice begins for 110th Indianapolis 500 presented by Gainbridge
Sunday, May 24: 110th Indianapolis 500 presented by Gainbridge Race Day
