• Four GTA-GT300 spec machines locked out the first two rows ahead of reigning champion GT3 machinery, marking a significant shift in competitive balance for the three-hour Golden Week endurance race at Fuji Speedway.
• Hideki Yamauchi shattered his own 2021 GT300 qualifying record with a 1:34.314, extending his all-time pole record to 17 in GT300. The #61 Subaru BRZ’s flat-six EG33 engine proved dominant in qualifying trim.
