RIN ARAKAWA gets a significant opportunity with Tomei Sports as regular driver Takayuki Aoki sits out the weekend, pairing her with teammate Hironobu Shimizu in what becomes a youth movement for the team.
• MIKI KOYAMA returns to the GT300 grid for Sunday’s 50-minute race, maintaining her presence in a series where consistent female representation remains crucial. The format change means teams must strategically split their driver lineups across both days, creating opportunities for drivers like Arakawa who might otherwise see limited seat time.
• The entry list confirms all 43 cars will participate after several GT300 teams missed Sepang due to pit lane space restrictions.
