GRRL! SUMMARY:
- CÉLIA MARTIN delivered Iron Dames’ first pole position of the season with a masterclass qualifying performance at Silverstone, going fastest on worn wet tyres in the final minute with a 2:11.819 lap that put the all-female team tied at the top of LMGT3 championship standings heading into the race.
- Martin dominated the early race from pole, building a commanding lead with consistent 2:02 lap times before contact with another Ferrari earned her a drive-through penalty. Despite the setback, she mounted an incredible recovery drive, reclaiming the lead before handing over to SARAH BOVY during an ill-timed rain period that caught the team on slicks.
- BOVY and MICHELLE GATTING fought valiantly through the weather chaos and off-sequence pit strategy, with Gatting cutting a 37-second gap down to 17 seconds in the final stint before the race was red-flagged. The team finished P10 after showing frontrunning pace all weekend, now sitting fourth in the championship heading to the season finale at Portimão.
