GRRL! SUMMARY:

  • TINA PIERCE has been tearing up the drag racing scene since 2009, and now she’s found her secret weapon. After nine months of deliberation, Pierce switched to Compressed Air Supercharging for her ’08 Chevy Colorado in MWDRS Top Sportsman. The result? Dead-consistent 4.40s at 160 mph with just 15 pounds of boost on her 509ci big-block. While other racers fight weather and atmospheric conditions, Pierce gets to focus purely on the track – because she’s literally putting her own atmosphere in the engine.
  • Pierce took a detour to Motion Raceworks Mega Week with her 16-year-old daughter KENZIE, racing her twin-turbo ’66 Nova across 1,320 miles through Oklahoma, Missouri, and Texas. Technical gremlins turned what started as 7.30s into a 20-second limp-home run by the final day, but sometimes the best victories aren’t on the time slip. Watching your daughter win a heads-up shootout? That’s the kind of family racing legacy that matters more than any points championship.
  • Speaking of KENZIE PIERCE – this 16-year-old didn’t just complete Mega Week in the family’s blue ’04 Colorado, she dominated when it counted. Running 8.75s in Tailgate class with her own single-system Compressed Air setup, Kenzie capped off the week by winning a special heads-up shootout in Tulsa. Her tree skills and racing instincts have mom TINA beaming with pride, proving that when it comes to teaching the next generation, sometimes the apple doesn’t fall far from the Christmas tree.
